Alexandra Lopez received her Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree, with a minor in political science, from Florida International University, where she served as community service chair for the FIU Honors Council and N.S.C.S. Through her involvement in these organizations and thereafter, she has had the opportunity to be actively involved in the community, which propelled her desire to help the community further through the practice of law.

Prior to attending law school, Alexandra worked as a paralegal in an employment law firm, assisting employees who had recently lost their jobs. Alexandra then received her law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami. While in law school, Alexandra worked for a bankruptcy law firm and was part of her law school’s Bankruptcy Clinic. Upon graduation, Alexandra has practiced law in the areas of bankruptcy and civil litigation, including medical malpractice, personal injury, and contract disputes, but has focused primarily in bankruptcy, which is what she finds most rewarding. Alexandra represents clients from all walks of life, who need bankruptcy relief for one reason or another, and it is exceedingly satisfying helping them get back on their feet or getting a fresh start.

Alexandra is admitted to practice before all Florida courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
