Her career has come full circle. Sonja began her legal career at Loan Lawyers more than a decade ago during the last foreclosure crisis, representing homeowners throughout Florida.

After spending the next ten years practicing law, handling landlord-tenant matters, and working as a licensed Forida & North Carolina Realtor, she has returned to Loan Lawyers with a broader perspective and a deep understanding of the challenges property owners face.

Throughout her career, Sonja has represented clients in foreclosure litigation and real estate-related matters, combining legal advocacy with practical real estate knowledge. Her unique background allows her to develop strategic solutions for homeowners while guiding them through some of life’s most difficult financial and legal challenges.

Fluent in French and Haitian Creole, Sonja is passionate about serving diverse communities throughout Florida. She also has international legal consulting experience in Haiti, where she supported major economic and governmental initiatives.

Sonja earned her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center and her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Communications and Political Science from Howard University, graduating with honors from both institutions.

Having represented homeowners during the last foreclosure crisis and now returning to Loan Lawyers during a new era of financial uncertainty, Sonja brings both experience and perspective to every case she handles. She believes that effective advocacy is not simply about litigating cases, it is about standing beside clients during some of the most difficult moments of their lives and fighting for the outcomes they deserve.
